Phoenix & Scottsdale Senior Portrait Photographer
High School Senior Photos in Arizona with Jennifer Bowen
Senior year is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and your senior portraits should feel as unique as you are!
With 20 years of photography experience, I specialize in capturing natural, personality-filled images that highlight who you are at this exciting stage of life. No forced poses, no awkward smiles—just authentic, timeless photos that reflect your individuality in a fun, easygoing way.
I aim to make the session easy going, reflective of you and as involved (or not!) as you want your photos to be. Guys tend to prefer shorter sessions, while many young women want more outfits and more time.
There are lots of options to choose from!
What to Expect from Your Session
-
A Stress-Free Experience
Whether you're camera-shy or love being in front of the lens,
I'll guide you through poses that feel natural and effortless.
-
Customized to Your Style
Bring multiple outfits, choose a location that fits your vibe,
and let's make this session uniquely yours.
-
Natural, Editorial Aesthetic
My style leans away from stiff, over-posed photos, focusing instead
on storytelling, movement, and capturing you as you are.

Pre-Session Planning
Getting ready for your senior portrait session should be fun and stress-free. Whether you're dreaming of a chic city vibe, a golden desert glow, or soft, romantic fields, your outfit choices and prep can make a big difference.
What to Wear
-
Choose colors that complement your skin tone or wear patterns that you love (florals, soft ginghams, plaid, and more)
-
Layer up! Jackets, hats, jewelry, belts, cowboy boots - all the textures and layers add depth to your images
-
Bring multiple outfits to mix up the vibe (dressy, casual, cap & gown, college shirt).
-
Athletes, feel free to bring sporting gear to make the session unique to you (football, glove, soccer ball, ice skates, ballet etc)
-
Musicians, please feel free to bring your instrument!
How to Prepare for Your Session
-
Schedule haircuts & colors at least a week before (fresh but not too fresh)
-
Keep makeup natural and polished—a little extra for the camera is great!
-
Hydrate and get plenty of rest so your skin looks its best
-
Your finger nails may show, so girls, if you get them done, plan for a day or two before your session
-
Keep tanning sprays to a minimum because funky streaks or orange-y tones can be a little hard to correct for
-
In editing, I will whiten up the teeth, but feel free to do a whitening gel a week or so before the session if that is your thing
