Photographer, Mom, Storyteller, Lifelong Learner
Thank you for being here. At my core, I’ve always been drawn to the human experience. How we navigate our relationships, our inner world, and our seasons of life. The highs, the challenges, love, friendships, and everything in between.
Maybe that’s why, when a friend handed me a “good camera” about twenty-five years ago and asked if I could take a few photos for her, something clicked. My naturally curious, introverted-leaning soul loved being the observer: watching how people interacted, how light moved across faces, how a genuine laugh looks when someone thinks no one is paying attention. Something aligned in me that day, and began a journey that led to the images and words you find here today.
For many years, I poured myself into photographing weddings and loved it.
And then, as my own kids grew (they are now 20 & 17) and I found myself missing their weekend games and milestones, I shifted my focus to family photography, high school seniors, branding sessions, and people portraits. But the goal has always stayed the same ... to give people photos they love, photos that feel honest, and hopefully capture a piece of who they are. Images with a little soul.
I think part of the reason I’m still here two decades later is that it’s never been just about the photos. Not purely art, and not purely a business, but also working with people, creating connections, and hopefully timeless, beautiful images that my clients can put in frames for a lifetime.
A few years back, after life brought about some big changes (as life can do), I decided to integrate real estate into my professional world as well. Since our homes are the containers of our stories and the backdrop to so many of our chapters, it felt like a natural extension of my work. I’ve always loved homes and drawing floorplans, finding gems with good bones and envisioning how spaces can flow and be modernized. So whether through photography or being a licensed real estate agent, my intention is the same: to serve with care, integrity, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to the experience.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me enjoying the little things like time with my kids, family and friends, cozy evenings at home with my pups, traveling & new adventures (love!), good food, movies and books, music & podcasts, yoga/Pilates, time outside on daily walks, writing, and staying grounded through my faith and meditation practice. (Oh, and trying not to suck at golf!)
