As a long-time, professional newborn and maternity photographer based in Scottsdale, I specialize in lifestyle sessions that are relaxed, heartfelt, and beautifully real. Whether you're welcoming your first baby or your fourth, I’ll document those fleeting moments—tiny fingers, sleepy smiles, and glowing bellies—with warmth and beautiful simplicity.
With 20 years of experience capturing pregnancy, newborn, and family portraits across the Phoenix and Scottsdale areas, my approach is baby-led, connection-focused, and never overly posed or propped.

Minimal, Natural Props. If you are looking for studio based photography, I'm happy to refer you.
I bring a few simple elements like blankets, baskets, or fresh florals (if requested) but the focus stays on your baby, your home, your family and your connection - not the props.

Lifestyle Newborn & Maternity Session Pricing
Newborn Portrait Session - $750
Capture the precious early days of your newborn’s life with an in-home session, designed to accommodate feeding and changing needs. Your session will result in a gallery of 75-100 beautifully edited images, all delivered in high-resolution for you to cherish forever. Most sessions last between 1-1.5 hours.

Year in the Life Package – $2,875 ($4500 value)
Document your baby's first year with this year long package, featuring four (4) sessions: maternity, newborn, six-month milestone, and a first birthday. The package includes a stunning 40-page fine art album showcasing your favorite images from the year, creating a timeless keepsake.
You’ll receive all the high-resolution, hand-edited files from each session. Flexible payment plans are available with the option to pay in four installments.
AYear in the Life
CHRONICLE YOUR BABY'S FIRST YEAR
Each year we offer a limited number of A Year in the Life Packages, where we document your baby's first year of life through four different stages. The sessions may include:
1) Maternity session
2) Newborn session
3) 6-8 Month old session
4) 1 Year Old session
At the end of the year, we give you a beautiful fine art album with several images from each of your sessions (you can choose them) to keep and cherish forever. It is a beautiful time capsule from a time in your life that goes by so incredibly fast, and one you won't ever forget.
The yearly package, including the album is $2875

HOW TO PREPARE
For your in-home newborn portrait session
CLOTHING FOR THE FAMILY
When choosing clothes for Mom, Dad, siblings and baby, keep it easy and comfortable. Lighter neutral colors will help keep the photos light and bright and the focus on your connection. Or opt for brighter colors to add a little more pop. Many women prefer easy dresses or comfy separates, while clean, pressed
t-shirts, collared polo type shirts or casual button downs work well for Dad. Remember, baby will be laying on you and your clothing, so soft fabrics are usually best.
HOW TO DRESS YOUR BABY
When picking out clothing for your newborn session, plan for lightweight swaddle blankets, diaper covers, headbands, hats, or onesies. Even bare skin or in a diaper can be cute. It's best to save the "dressy" outfits for when they are older and you will be able to see more of the clothing. Etsy is a great place to find lots of cute things for your newborn baby photos!
WHEN TO SCHEDULE
Jennifer recommends scheduling your newborn session for around the time you are due and she will pencil you in for a TBD date with the agreement and deposit. Then, once you deliver and get back home, please reach back out so Jennifer can get you on the books within the following week or two. Most sessions are scheduled during the week between 10 AM and 1 PM, or sometimes weekends depending on availability.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE SESSION AND AFTERWARDS
The photo session itself will take 1-2 hours & depends on the baby's temperament at the time, feedings, and diaper changes. Ideally, I like to photograph your baby both asleep and awake, and then also take photos with mom, dad, any siblings, and everyone together.
Approx 7-10 days after your session, I will post your edited images into a private web gallery where you can download and/or order prints. Jennifer can help you with printed images for your walls, making a beautiful baby album of your favorite images or even ordering small gifts for grandparents, taking these incredibly special images from off the computer screen and off your to-do list so you can share this special time.
