2023 Fall Sessions
Below are the available dates, times and kind of sessions Scottsdale, AZ photographer Jennifer Bowen is booking for fall 2023. To submit your booking request, kindly read through the following::
1.) Click the time you would like to book. That will open up an email to me with the time/date in the subject.
2.) Send the email with your family names, ages of children and any other pertinent info you would like to add.
If available, we will send you the online booking agreement within 4-12 hours (if overnight). All agreements do automatically expire after 24 hours because fall mini sessions are in high demand and there will already be a waiting list for the slot. To confirm your booking, you will need to complete the agreement and pay the deposit within 24 hours. Thank you!

What can we expect from a Mini Session?
Mini sessions with Jennifer Bowen Photography are quick portrait sessions (20-25 minutes) and are offered only in the spring or fall on specific dates at specific times in a set location. They are ideal for:
• Smaller families (less than 6 people - larger groups click here)
• Families with young children who wont sit long
• Families with teens who will quickly get bored with photos!
• Families with husbands/dads who quickly get bored with photo taking ;-)
• Maternity portraits
• Couples or newly engaged who just want a few great portraits
They are not really ideal for families wanting a more dedicated lifestyle / candid experience or for those with extremely shy children who need more time and personal attention to warm up. Those sessions typically need at least a full hour, or more.
How do we reserve our spot and pay? And how soon should we book?
Sessions are booked first-come, first-serve, so we recommend locking in your spot as soon as you can. Here is how you do that:

To book, select the time slot you want above and click it. It will email me that time and date in the subject line (please don't change the subject). Then, in the body of your email, ideally give me one back up time because sometimes people book the same time slot at the same time. It also helps to share how many people will be in the group and any ages of children.

I will email you back to confirm I have that spot available and then send you the online agreement for you to sign, which also includes the online payment link for your deposit of $150. You will be considered officially booked once I receive both the signed agreement & your deposit. The final payment is due 2 days prior to your session and can be processed automatically if you select that option.

We ask that you please complete your booking within 24 hours. After that amount of time, if we do not receive the contract & deposit, your slot will be released back so it may be booked by someone else.
What if I need to cancel my session?
Deposits are non-refundable because we turn away others who want that time & date, but if you need to reschedule, your deposit will be applied towards a future portrait booking if used within 3 months of cancellation. You can also apply it towards another open Mini Session date/time if available.
I receive ALL the final high res images with my session right?
The cost of the Mini Session package includes five (5) high res files to keep, not all of the images from your session. However, you can opt to buy all of them if you wish. You will see that option in the agreement at the time of booking for a discounted rate, or you can decide after you see the images for the pricing below.

Additional high res files (watermark free since you are buying the copyrights to use them as you wish) are $25 each, or 5 for $100 inside your gallery store.

If you buy the whole gallery at the time of booking, the cost is discounted to $100 for whole set (but only at that time).
What is the turnaround time for our proofs?
We will post the edited proof images to your online gallery within 4-6 days (depending on the production backlog) and email you when they are ready to view. You choose your 5 freebies and download them. When you open them on your computer, the watermark will be gone, and the image file will be a full size, high res JPEG. The same applies to any other images you choose to add to your shopping cart and purchase.
Physical prints (like 5x7's), take about 2-3 days to print and ship from our professional lab.
Your sessions are all booked, do you have a waiting list?
Yes! After the sessions are booked up, Jennifer places all booking requests onto a waiting list. There are cancellations every single year since things do pop up last minute for families, and when a spot opens up, Jennifer emails people in the order of the list, giving each 24 hours to respond & reserve.
