Lets Hear it for the Boys! Family Photoshoots from Fall 2020
This past fall was one of my busiest with family photography in my 15 years of shooting. I think many people were ready to get out of the house and get a little dressed up again after so much social distancing.
I thought it would be fun to showcase several shoots in one post where the families had all boys. (The all girls post is here!) The photo shoots with all boys are full of action, energy and fun!
Photoshoot Tip: For boys who have a lot of energy and picture taking is not high on their list of "fun things to do" it can help to bring things for them to play with, like footballs, baseball & glove -- or just let them climb some trees for a bit, run in the grass and explore. That is where some of the best candids come from.
This shoot with the Harvey family was part of a larger family shoot, and these were some of the breakouts of their crew. I'll share more from her sister's family and the whole group soon.
I had a blast with the Drummonds at a local park for their mini session
The McLane's were fun! The boys just wanted to play football with each other, but we got a good handful of posey-posey ones for Mom on the front end and then they let loose.
I loved that they had a good 10 minutes to just play, be silly and have fun. We got lots of candids in this set of boys being boys.
This cutie pie was from a quick front porch session early in the fall at this beautiful home with one of my past brides & grooms.
Little man J wasnt sure about me at first, be he sooned warmed up and we ended up getting some great ones for the Schull family
I just love the Fulton family, who I have been photographing for years, including their wedding. Sweetest family ever, and little man is a love bug!
And lastly, one of my wedding couples from wayyyyy back in 2010. I loved seeing the Thoeny's again for this beautiful fall session in #Flagstaff and seeing their gorgeous son grow! Those eyes though 😍
